midnight mayhem was saturday. fun in the dark. stayed up too late, mothers day was a struggle.
our checkpoint was at the pipeline, we made folks dig for buried 'treasure' in a sandy patch lit up by knog lights. about five minutes after we set up camp, a train came and parked literally right over us on the tressel, making it impossible to hear anything. that made sean mad. haha.
monday took the dogs to 42nd street for swimminz. mega adventure.
can't believe the weekends over. need another day off.
brought andrew lunch at work, made it all the way out to the hugenot bridge before i realized the nut that holds my front sprocket on was missing. neat. rode carefully home. pirated the raven for a fix, got it squared away with some locktite. working out some weird electrical issues. dremel is on the fritz so changing the front sprocket has to wait, so does finishing the seat mount. bummer. but otherwise, done.
the flickr album of the safari's restoration is pretty cool.
