ive been really busy. started my new job OFFICIALLY monday, i'm now a member of team "working in carytown." feels good. good people to work with and a really positive, professional salon to chill in. its not crazy busy now, which is good for the ease in, but it'll start to pick up soon. just in time for me to be confident and totally capable of everything.
vacation was really nice. good QT with andrew, fun with friends. nice ocean swimming, something i havent done in a long time.
wish i was still at the beach.
apparently april needs a roomate, just got the text.
i think i need to go sit down and chill, my head is kind of spinning from the past few days.

worked a training shift at new job today. pretty cool. also very busy, which kind of rules. i'm more excited now than i was.
in kind of bummer news:
i applied for a job as a part time baker for a small busines (shauna's baked goods) that specialized in italian pastries and gluten free desserts.
the phone interview was pretty awesome seeming, the woman said that she needed someone to bake in their home, ellwood thompsons and local coffee shops had blown up her gluten free cookie business.
we were setting up an 'in person' interview, when i disclosed that i didn't have a car, that i commuted by bicycle.
i don't think it was possible for the woman to get off the phone fast enough with me...shut down so hard. i explained that i'd been commuting by bike for almost 3 years, that i hadn't missed a day of work or been late because of it, but she still found it unacceptable. its whatevs, but you'd think someone catering to the natural foods business would promote that kind of thing.

Came home to a pitch black house. Went upstairs, hopeful after a night
of tension and fights between good friends.
One light on in the whole house...highlighting the living room coffee
table. There's a fortune from my fortune cookie (that I forgot to eat
last night) sitting in the middle of the table.
It says: 'you are goning to take a vacation'
(spelling error as reads from the slip of paper.)
see you when I get back from the beach, I leave friday morning.
Later gator.

yesterday while we were walking the dogs, idle had a little bit of something sticking out of his butthole after he dropped a load of turds.
andrew bent over to see what it was, using a doggie bag on his hand helped idle out by grabbing it and pulling.
i'm not kidding you, a full sheet of paper towel came out...i had to run away gagging.
dogs are so gross sometimes.
